Welcome back to the 2017-2018 school year!

Our theme for this year is "Community and Collaboration." I believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to ensure success for all of our students. Parents are a special and unique part of our learning community. Collaboration and communication with your child's teacher is essential to a healthy and successful year.

Parent involvement is an important aspect of every child's education and is the primary factor in a students' success in school. There are many ways in which you can participate in school. Volunteering to work in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, and assisting with the many activities we provide, are just a few things that you can do to make a difference.

My priorities as instructional leader include: increasing student achievement and increasing parental involvement. But none of my priorities are as important as our kids. Bunche Academy students deserve the best. We will work together to make decisions that are in the best interest of your child.

In closing, when we ALL work together and put our focus on the best interests’ of our students, we will be a GREAT school!

If I can ever be of assistance, please call or email me! It is through being a collaborative learning community with open communication that I can best serve our students.

Thanks for the opportunity to serve this GREAT community as I welcome each of you back to Bunche Academy.

Educationally,

Kelley Beck
